The most commonly used rating for movies is the IMDb rating. As of June 21, 2018, IMDb has collected a total of 4734693 works and 8702001 character materials. IMDb is not only a movie database, but also provides daily updates on movies and TV news, as well as special coverage for different movie events such as the Academy Awards.
