Emisferi – Festival del cinema di Ciampino

Emisferi – Festival del cinema di Ciampino is a film festival organized and promoted by Tersite Film, in collaboration with the association Vita Via Est ODV and other Italian organizations active in the film sector and in social promotion. The aim of the festival is to bring to the cinema feature films, documentaries, and short films by emerging filmmakers—works that prioritize creative effort and the relevance of their themes over commercial appeal and the use of substantial financial resources.

During the festival evenings, audiences will experience bold, innovative, and experimental art forms, created for the pleasure of artistic expression, engagement, opening new perspectives, and inspiring wonder.

Emisferi stands for inclusion, equal opportunities, free thought, experimentation, and the pursuit of peace, justice, and equality, independent of political affiliations of any kind. No space will be given to manifestations of elitism, conservatism, or self-referentiality, nor to works promoting war as a means of aggression or dominance, or containing sexist, xenophobic, homophobic, or transphobic content.

The 2026 edition, as with the previous one, will take place at Il Piccolissimo Cinema in Ciampino from November 27 to 29, 2026. The presence of guests from across Italy and abroad, together with discussions with the audience, will create meaningful opportunities for dialogue on the themes explored in the films being screened. This exchange will also contribute to enhancing the artistic and cultural heritage of the host municipality, positioning it as a hub for international filmmakers.
