About the Film Festival

We are thrilled to announce that Third Eye is organising the 4th Nepali Film Festival in London! Building on the success of our previous festival—which welcomed more than 850 participants, screened 10 outstanding films, and honoured 5 exceptional works at the closing ceremony—we are excited to continue this inspiring journey.

This year, we are already receiving an overwhelming response from filmmakers across the globe. The Nepali Film Festival has been proudly recognised by British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, along with many distinguished filmmakers, reflecting the growing influence of Nepali cinema on the international stage.

The United Kingdom, home to one of the world’s most vibrant entertainment industries, offers a powerful platform for filmmakers to engage with diverse audiences. As a key cultural event, the Nepali Film Festival London celebrates cinematic excellence across a range of categories. Organised by the dedicated Third Eye team, the festival honours remarkable achievements through official awards and welcomes contributions from independent juries.

We look forward to another unforgettable celebration of Nepali films, culture, and storytelling。

The official program of the Film Festival London promises a diverse range of cinematic experiences across its various segments. The jury will select ten nominations, with the final five films receiving awards during the closing ceremony.

We accept films made in the Nepali or English language, or films accompanied by Nepali or English subtitles. Eligible films must have a running time of at least 30 minutes and no more than 150 minutes. Films must be completed before 1st January 2026. International co-productions will be evaluated based on the primary country of production.

The Third Eye Director retains the authority to make final decisions on any matters not explicitly addressed in these guidelines, ensuring fairness and integrity throughout the selection process.
