About the Film Festival
Dedicated and passionate about short film, The Edinburgh Short Film Festival has brought the best modern Scottish, UK and International short film to the Scottish capital since 2011. Screening around 70 short films across 8 nights, the Festival awards prizes for Best Film, Best Animated Film and Best Scottish Film each autumn, at venues across the city. Each year we curate screenings of our best short films for International festivals around the world as part of our annual touring programme.
