Introduction to the film festival

ANOTHER translates as "other" in Chinese, another story, another life, and another attitude. The film festival is hosted by EMI Pictures, and jointly sponsors Shenniu Lighting, Smog, and You Basket. We hope to explore young film creators from a commercial perspective, aiming to build a resource sharing platform for more genre film directors. Recommend outstanding talents and works for film and television institutions, discover and deliver fresh blood to the industrial chain, and bring more diverse film choices and audio-visual experiences to the audience, so as to promote the industrialized development of film and television education. The film festival will hold "screening units" and "competition units" on a fixed basis every quarter. In the future, new forms of activities such as "Youth Film Training Camp" will be added according to the actual situation. ANOTHER has held offline screening activities in Beijing/Chongqing/Changsha/Nanjing/Ningbo. While providing generous bonuses and support treatment, we will also help you to promote your short film works overseas. As a platform for public display, your short film works will have the opportunity to be favored by the production company.Sfilmmaker is our exclusive platform for cooperation in China, and we look forward to your good film.

Requisition Terms: 1. The film collection period is from 2022.9.1 to 2023.10.1. Awards will be given to the participating films every quarter (4 months). The quarterly competition can be registered throughout the year. Except for force majeure factors, the submitted works shall not be withdrawn from the competition and screening of this film festival. 2. Entries must be original works by the applicants. Applicants must be the legal holders of the film and must not infringe on the rights and interests of others. 3. The film submission deadline for the current season of the festival is the 20th (including the day) of the last month of each quarter. Films submitted after the 20th will automatically be included in the selection of the next quarterly competition and will not participate in the selection of the current season. 4. Once the film is shortlisted, the film festival organizing committee has the priority to represent the shortlisted works, and has the right to use the film for the derivative creation of film festival promotion (including but not limited to promotional videos, posters, etc.) 5. Any submission of works for the competition or participation in the competition is deemed to have accepted the terms of this charter. The organizing committee reserves the right of final interpretation, revision, and recovery of awards, bonuses and prizes for this competition. 6. If the film has participated in the competition or screening of the previous ANOTHER Film Festival, it can also be re-delivered. Requisition Rules: 1. The object of the works is not limited to nationality, but all works are subject to the relevant laws of the People's Republic of China, and all works submitted at home and abroad must not contravene the relevant regulations. 2. The duration of the film: [Short Film Competition Unit] no more than 35 minutes; [Short Film Screening Unit] 60 minutes or less. 3. Film type: feature films and cartoons are the main objects of collection, subject to unlimited subject matter under the premise of legality and regulations (, commercials, music MVs are not accepted) 4. Subtitle requirements: There are no language restrictions for dialogue, but the participating films must have Chinese and English subtitles embedded. 5. Movie format: The format requirements accepted by the movie review version are AVI, MPG, MOV, MP4 and other common formats.
