Introduction to the film festival

Make us laugh! Humor is universal and brings people together. The Golden Smile International Film Festival wants to show you the best and funniest films and video's in the world. We accept all genres, our only rule is simple, make the audience laugh. From slapstick to feature films, short clips, ultra short clips, hidden camera, documentaries, you name it. We encourage filmmakers from all over the world to submit their work. There is so much to discover in the world of humor. Broaden our perpective and make us smile. The film festival is held in Bergen Netherlands. (Not far from Amsterdam.) Our goal is to become world's leading comedy festival. This year we want to bring light on the darkest day, blue Monday in the middle of the coronacrisis.Sfilmmaker is our exclusive platform for cooperation in China, and we look forward to your good film.

Make the audience smile or laugh loudly. It is that easy (or most difficult). We aim for a real international festival, from Azerbedjan to Zanzibar, all languages are welcome. (With English subtitles). Our public and our laugh-o-meter will do the judging along with the pro's. 1. The individual or corporation submitting the film hereby warrants that it is authorised to commit the film for screening, and understands and accepts these requirements and regulations. 2. Golden Smile Film Festival is hereby granted the right to utilise an excerpt from any film submitted and accepted for exhibition at the Festival for promotional purposes. 2. 3. All entries should be in English or with English subtitles. 4. All scripts must be original screenplays for which the applicant(s) hold the copyright. 5.The applicant shall indemnify and hold harmless Golden Smile Film Festival from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney’s fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered.
