BRAZIL INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

IMPORTANT INFORMATION : THIS SUBMISSION IS FOR 2019 !!! All non-English films must have English subtitles, except films in Portuguese language. At this time, we are only requesting online submissions and all materials must be viewable online, as we want to remain as green as possible. By submitting to the festival, you agree to allow your film (or other artistic work) to be screened by the festival during the festival run, for which you are submitting, at no charge to the festival. If there are to be any additional screenings, we will come to a mutual agreement between the filmmaker and the festival. All media selected by the festival will be asked to provide promotional materials, but we ask that no promotional materials be sent until selection. By submitting to the festival you are admitting copyright ownership of everything submitted. The festival reserves the right to disqualify any submission at any time, if there is any question of ownership, copyright infringement or any sign of disrespect (in any form of media) to the festival or its representatives. The festival venue will be in the town of Teresopolis - Rio de Janeiro and selected films will be screened according to the festival schedule. The festival´s venue: Espaço Higino (Awards Ceremony) Av. Oliveira Botelho, 365 - Alto Teresópolis (City on Rio de Janeiro Hills) Municipal Theater of the City Hall of Teresópolis (Screening Sessions) Festival dates: 23rd to 25th of October 2019. The winners who not attend to the award ceremony will receive an online version of the certificate. BRIFF has continued to grow and develop into an important screening opportunity for filmmakers. We screen documentary, feature and short films of every genre. We are no longer accepting submissions via DVD. We make the process simple, you can submit to our festival through Sfilmmaker platform and send us a link to your film. We prefer streaming services such as Vimeo or YouTube.
