Introduction to the film festival
Hungary's biggest short film festival is back with the 14th edition! After our record-breaking 2025 edition, we are further expanding for our next event which will take place at the end of May - beginning of June 2026 in Budapest, Hungary.
Friss Hús will once again be about full-house screenings, inspiring vibe, awesome parties, and the second edition of Fresh Meat market that will bring large number of Hungarian and international industry attendees.

Rules
- Max. 40 minutes length for live-action and documentaries, and 20 minutes for animation
- Any countries
- Any genres (Live-action / Documentary / Animation)
- For LGBTQ+ and Horror projects: please submit through the special categories!
- Completed after January 2024.
