Introduction to the film festival
Ecos Shorts Festival was born as a meeting space for filmmakers, producers, and film enthusiasts, with the aim of strengthening the love for the seventh art and showcasing works of great creative value both nationally and internationally. This event celebrates the magic of cinema by exploring powerful narratives and offering a unique platform for the recognition of both emerging and established talent.
We seek to recognize cinema as a narrative and artistic tool that inspires, moves, and connects audiences, while also enhancing the aesthetic and technical quality of the short film format.
Planet Cycle
In the "Planet" cycle, the main character is our shared home: Earth. Through a powerful selection of short films, we explore the many ways in which nature, biodiversity, and ecological balance are impacted by human activity. This cycle invites us to reflect on the environment and the global ecological crisis, while also celebrating acts of resistance, care, and reconnection with the natural world.
