About the Film Festival
Zhejiang Micro Film Selection activity is the most authoritative event in Zhejiang micro film industry. It is sponsored by Zhejiang filmmakers Association, Zhejiang Cultural Industry Promotion Association, Zhejiang Daily Newspaper Group and other units. It is planned to be held once a year. It has been successfully held five times since 2016. Now the scope of entries has covered the whole country and overseas. It has developed into a micro film event with national influence. Over the past five years, nearly 3000 micro films have entered the competition, and hundreds of excellent micro films have won awards. These works come from more than 20 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government) such as Beijing, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Shandong, Fujian, Yunnan, Xinjiang and Inner Mongolia, as well as more than 10 overseas countries such as the United States, Britain, Canada and Russia. 1. The content of the entries must be active and healthy, comply with national laws and regulations, and be free of pornographic, violent, bloody and other undesirable content.
2. All entries must be original, and the participating unit (or) owns the copyright of the film.
3. The duration of the entries should be within 15 minutes.
4. The filming of the entries will be completed from January 2020 to August 2021, and one film can only participate in the selection for one session.
5. High-definition digital video works (MOV, MP4 format) must be submitted.
6. Participating works in the short film unit must fit the theme and meet:
(1) The short film unit "Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China" ·The entries are short feature films and animated feature films with related themes.
(2) "So many beautiful rivers and mountains" short film unit ·The entries are micro-films shot on the theme of Jiangshan, Zhejiang, with a complete storyline.
(3) "World of Zhejiang Merchants" Short Film Unit · Entries need to show the spirit of Zhejiang Merchants. The type is not limited, and can be related themed micro-films, feature films, documentary films, cartoons, short videos, etc.
