ATTENTION: THIS FESTIVAL HAS A LIVE EVENT, WITH THEATRE SCREENINGS, WORKSHOPS, NETWORKING, AND AWARD SHOWS, that will take place from July 26 to August 1, 2021, at the Galaxy Theatre in LAS VEGAS. "X World Short Film Festival" is an IMDb-qualifying Festival for Independent Filmmakers and Writers, that dare to eXpress their fantasy, creativity and peculiar ideas through Short Films and Scripts. If your creation produces one or more of the following reactions (in alphabetical order): "Ahahahahah!!" "Awww!!" "Cool!!" "Incredible!!" "This is crazy!!" "Wait! What??!!" “Yes!!” ...and if you think that it will make the audience feel amazed-excited-thrilled-amused-moved, then this Festival is for you! “X World” is about fascinating stories, inspiring messages, fun intrigues, new themes, unusual points of view, mysteries! As long as in tune with good vibes… Our purpose is to find, showcase, promote, honor and recognize such kind of interesting works, made with Love and passion for the art of eXpression, no matter the budget or technical resources. The Festival has been created by an Independent Filmmaker that knows, understands, Loves the world of Independent Filmmaking and knows how it feels like to have one's own work showcased and appreciated! Every submitted Project is watched or read by the Judges with maximum attention and dedication, more than once, to fully evaluate every aspect of the Film or Script and the Artists involved. The Festival, in its third year, is part of the great and famous MEGAFEST, 17 years historical point of reference for Directors, Actors, Producers, Distributors. A big Event that includes multiple Festivals, with multi-theatres screenings in a beautiful place, inspiring seminars, exciting parties and interesting opportunities to start new cooperation and friendships. The Live Festival will take place from July 26 to August 1, 2021, at the Galaxy Theatre in Las Vegas. PLEASE, BEFORE SUBMITTING, READ CAREFULLY "RULES & TERMS" AND "AWARD & PRIZES" SECTIONS! Awards

SUBMISSIONS All submitted Films and Scripts will have a welcome and thank you post on the Festival Social Media. ---- OFFICIAL SELECTIONS All selected Films and Scripts will receive the Official Selection Laurel, will have a permanent space in the Festival's Website and will be promoted on the Festival Social Media. The selected Films will be screened at the AOF MEGAFEST Live Event in Las Vegas (Nevada, USA), from July 26 to August 1, 2021, at the Galaxy Theatre in Las Vegas. You will receive all the information about the file and the material to send as soon as possible and no later than July 10, 2021. Filmmakers and Writers attending will receive one All-Access Pass to the MEGAFEST 2020/2021 ($900 value), which includes all Festivals screenings, seminars and Parties (excluding Award Shows, Private or Charity events/screenings). We accept also Short Short Scripts (up to 25 pages) and Short Scripts (25 to 50 pages), in English. Note about the Film categories: Each Film will compete only in the entered categories, however, there might be special recognitions for outstanding aspects of the Project. When submitting to Best Cinematography, Best Editing, Actress/Actor Performance, Music or Dance Performance (solo or ensemble), please specify the Artists names in the Cover Letter.
