Sci-Fi, Terror and Fantasy Film Festival

1. DATE AND PLACE OF CONTEST: From 12 to 17 of April of 2021, in the city of Bogotá, Colombia.

DATE OF RECEPTION: From 15 of June of 2020 until 20 of December of 2020, it will be split in Four Deadlines; Early Deadline (from 15 of June of 2020 until 5 of July of 2020), Regular Deadline (from 10 July of 2019 until 13 of October of 2019), Late Deadline(from 1 of November of 2020 until 30 of November of 2020) ad Extended Deadline(from 1 of December of 2020 until 20 of December of 2020). 

 3. DATE OF NOTIFICATION OF OFFICIAL SELECTION AND LAUNCH OF THE FILM FESTIVAL

6. PARTICIPATING WORKS: Films from around the world can participate. If the film is in English or a different language it be required subtitles in Spanish. Priority will be given to National, Continental and Worldwide releases at the moment of make the official selection, however, it isn’t a requirement not to have been released in Colombia. 

7. DURATION: - Short Films: Works from 1 minutes until 35 minutes length (Including credits) - Feature Films: Works over 70 minutes without a time limit 

8. INSCRIPTION: Since October 15 we accept too Sfilmmaker to the inscriptions 

9. SENDING OF WORKS; For the sending of works, you must upload the digital copy of the film in high definition (.MOV, .MP4, Compressor H.264 or ProRes 422) a virtual cloud and send for email the link of download. At the same time you must append the document where you give the permission of exhibition of your work 

10. RECOGNITION: There will be a delivery of officials recognitions (certificates of Official Selection) to the selected works in every category after be announced, the laurels will be send for the press kits and posters, likewise after of finished the film FESTIVAL, a certified gonna be send for your participation in the FESTIVAL.

11. REQUIREMENTS: Apart from the High Definition video, its required a basic press kit(Poster, 5 frames of the film, banner, photograph of the director, trailer). In case of be selected, the postulant must put the laurel of the FESTIVAL in the poster and banner. 

12. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION. For the fact of make the inscription, the filmmakers of the movies chosen to be official selection accept than their films will be exhibited in the different activities framed in the development of the FESTIVAL in the 2019 edition. As well as using extracts of images from the films for promotional purposes of the FESTIVAL through the media. The sent material don’t be returned and going to pass to be part of the FESTIVAL LIBRARY. The FESTIVAL doesn’t be responsible of infractions related to copyright, being this responsibility of who send the work. 

13.THE JURY: The Jury will be compose for specialized filmmakers, The jury will be announced the 12 of March of 2021 with the announcement of the Official Selection of the festival. The Jury will choose the winners of every every major category, as well as the winner of the technical categories. The choice of the jury will be unappealable.
