AFIN International Film Festival

ABOUT AFIN AFIN International Film Festival is a festival with aims for worldwide filmmakers and the general public to participate by gathering International Film and Television works, screening films with artistic value, globally distributable appeal, and ideological content. Its main purpose is to promote the exchange of experience amongst film workers globally, help them to grow from the exchange of experience and skill, encourage new filmmakers and ideas, and promote the healthy development of film’s art and industry. AFIN is a large-scale, international, professional, innovative, open and market-oriented film industry event. It is becoming a key cultural activity, establishing Queensland as a centre of independent film innovation, and is an important platform for promoting Australian film industry, industry development, International Film exchange, trade and co-operation, and worldwide cultural exchange. We are looking for films : with a difference, whether it be a completely new idea, or a new way of presenting an idea. that are of the highest quality in all areas of production (does not need to be highest budget to be considered high quality, nor do we 100% need technical perfection. We do take budget constraints in consideration) that are engaging, thought provoking, surprising, and/or challenging Our festival is open to both feature films and shorts of all genres (with exception of explicit pornography), and as per our first year in 2018, we will have a selection of films screened live, mostly likely focusing on winners and nominees. Being selected does not mean that your film will be live screened.(Sfilmmaker is our exclusive platform for cooperation in China, and we look forward to your good film.)
