Chinese Film's Going Global- Inca Empire International Film Festival
The Inca Empire International Film Festival has cultural fusion as its foundation and has deep roots with Chinese cinema. The festival's location in Peru is not only the fifth largest tourist haven in the Americas but also the "cultural bridgehead" where over 3 million Chinese have settled in Latin America -- from the 19th-century "Southern Ocean" migration from Guangdong and Fujian to now, where Chinese cuisine "Chifa" is popular in every corner and lion dances during the Spring Festival can be seen in municipal squares. These events connect numerousChinese descendants in a natural cultural bond.

And this land's passion for the Eastern stories' trend, is also an opportunity for Chinese filmmakers! With the precise selection from Sfilmmaker's global film festival submission platform, works like Director Zhang Xiaoke's "The Season of Ripe Bayberries" and Director Zhou Chong's "The Warmth of the Heart" consecutively made it to film festivals and achieved great results, using Eastern narrative to stir the inner ripples of South American audience.
When the Inca civilization meets Eastern aesthetics, and when the stories of China echo through the Andes Mountains, the Inca Empire International Film Festival is becoming the new hot land.
